Patty helps clients protect their rights in their business dealings. Often the best strategy is to avoid costly litigation, and Patty is skilled at doing that through creative analysis and negotiation. She also has the knowledge and experience to tackle complex litigation in court and in arbitration, as advocate or as arbitrator. She’s handled everything from bet-the-company cases to routine contract claims – all while mindful that clients deserve realistic budgets and lawyers who adhere to them.
Arbitration
Having served on more than 250 arbitration panels, Patty's focus is on contract, real estate, insurance, and securities disputes. She has extensive experience with claims involving the business of healthcare. She also consults with law firms and their clients on arbitration strategies and procedure.
She is a member of American Arbitration Association’s Rosters of Neutrals for Large, Complex Commercial and Healthcare cases. She also serves as an arbitrator for the American Health Law Association.
